Senior EU diplomat Kaja Kallas has reacted publicly, stressing that the current situation is putting recently reached agreements at risk.
"Israeli actions are putting the US-Iran ceasefire under severe pressure. The ceasefire with Iran must extend to Lebanon ," she said on the social network X.
Earlier, the United Kingdom and France called for a ceasefire in Lebanon, following an intense wave of attacks by Israel, considered among the largest since the beginning of the conflict.
On the other hand, Israel and the United States have stated that Lebanon is not included in the current ceasefire agreement.
Meanwhile, Iran has warned that Israel's military actions could jeopardize the recently reached ceasefire with the US.
