The number of victims from the clashes between Israel and Hamas continues to increase. It is currently reported that the number of Israeli casualties has reached over 700 Israelis, while the fighting continues and dozens of warplanes attack the Gaza Strip.
On the other hand, at least 413 Palestinians have been confirmed dead, with another 2,300 injured, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. The balance of the rekindling of the bloody conflict has caused over 1,000 victims in just the first 24 hours, as well as over 3,000 wounded.
Yesterday, the Palestinian Islamic movement Hamas launched the biggest attack on Israel in years, while after the bombardment with rockets launched from the Gaza Strip, gunmen crossed the border.
As warning sirens sounded across southern and central Israel, including Jerusalem, the Israeli military said it was in a state of war as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called an emergency meeting of security officials. This is the most serious escalation since Israel and Hamas fought a 10-day war in 2021.
