US President Donald Trump is in Memphis, where he is expected to give a speech on the fight against crime in the US. Before the speech, Trump said that Tehran wants solutions and that there is a very good chance of a deal.
" My whole life has been a negotiation, but with Iran we've been negotiating for a long time. This time, they're serious ," Trump says.
He added that the US has eliminated everything it wanted in Iran and added that Tehran now has a good opportunity to end this.
" We have eliminated everything that needs to be eliminated in Iran, including the leaders. Iran has one more opportunity to end its threats, to the United States and its allies. We are now having really good discussions. They started last night, more or less, the night before. I think they are very good. They want peace. They have agreed that they will not have nuclear weapons. But we will see. We have to do it ," he added.
On the other hand, it is worth noting that the speaker of Iran's parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said that there had been no talks with the US, calling this "fake news."
