Greek businessman Christos Jalias, known in the meat and paint trade, was executed on Wednesday evening in the Athens industrial area called Mandra.
Journalist Artur Bibe, invited to "Breaking", says that the businessman was under the protection of Albanian guards.
Jalias was executed with 20 bullets.
"Despite the fact that there were security guards, there were 3-4 Albanians guarding him, in the case in question there were none and he was executed by two people with a Kalashnikov and a pistol. He was shot with approximately 17 Kalashnikov bullets and 3 pistol bullets, which were fatal. In the end, the car was set on fire and a Kalashnikov was found in it. Another burnt abandoned car and a burnt motorcycle were also found. So it is about a paid murder, it is not yet known who ordered it, he had a lot of problems recently. There was a dispute with another Greek businessman for an amount of 3 million euros. His name is also rumored in the great smuggling of cigarettes, the surest track is that Jalias had made warehouses of cigarettes available", said Artur Bibe.
He was married to an Albanian woman from Elbasan and had a child with her.
His first wife was mysteriously executed in 2018 and the perpetrators have never been found.
Jalia's name is also included in Albania in some commercial activities, import-export of trade goods from Latin American countries to Albania with an intermediary station in Athens, trade in meat, paint and property purchase.
