
The US Central Command in the Middle East has released an image of a destroyer that appears to be intercepting an Iranian-flagged ship in the Strait of Hormuz, according to CNN.
"The guided-missile destroyer USS Rafael Peralta (DDG 115) enforced the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports against an Iranian-flagged vessel attempting to sail into an Iranian port on April 24," CENTCOM announced.

According to CENTCOM confirmation, three American aircraft carriers, USS Abraham Lincoln, USS Gerald R. Ford and USS George HW Bush, are operating simultaneously in the Middle East.
This is a show of force not seen since 2003, with more than 200 aircraft on patrol, while Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz makes it clear that his country is ready to resume military operations.
This nervousness immediately transfers to energy markets, especially after the publication of a map by the Tasnim agency targeting undersea cables in the Strait of Hormuz, threatening the flow of data between Europe and Asia.
