US President Joe Biden called on Congress to "act without further delay" after the mass bombing in Ukraine, as US lawmakers and senators have yet to reach an agreement on an aid package for Kiev.
"If Congress does not take urgent action in the new year, we will not be able to continue sending much-needed weapons and air defense systems to Ukraine to protect its people ," Biden warned.
As the US president said, Russia's latest barrage of missile attacks in Ukraine is a sad reminder to the world that, after nearly two years of this devastating war, Putin's intent remains unchanged.
