Meanwhile, Israel claims to have also eliminated Ali Larijani, the head of the country's security apparatus, although this has not been officially confirmed by Tehran.
The list of senior officials killed shows a profound weakening of Iran's leadership structures:
Ali Khamenei – Iran's supreme leader since 1989, was killed in a surprise attack by the US and Israel, an event that led to the outbreak of war.
Ali Shamkhani – Secretary of the Defense Council and senior advisor to Khamenei, was killed in the initial attacks.
Mohammad Pakpour – Commander of the Revolutionary Guard, key figure in the security apparatus and in the suppression of protests.
Aziz Nasirzadeh – Minister of Defense, known for his tough stances and threats against American bases in the region.
Mohammad Shirazi – Head of Khamenei's military office for decades, key link between the supreme leader and the military command.
Abdolrahim Mousavi – Chief of General Staff, who had taken office after the assassination of his predecessor in previous conflicts.
These losses, concentrated at the highest levels of political and military leadership, indicate a direct blow to the axis of power in Iran.
In this context, the continued elimination of key figures is not only the result of military operations, but also signals a deep-seated intelligence war that is challenging the stability of Iranian state structures.
