Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, and Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei have reacted sharply to US President Donald Trump's statements that they are for division.
They have called Trump's claim propaganda, while emphasizing the complete unity of the Iranian leadership.
Trump, in posts on Truth Social and recent statements regarding the extension of the ceasefire in the conflict with Iran, claimed that there are deep divisions within the political and military establishment of the Islamic Republic.
He spoke of conflicts between "hardliners" and "moderates," suggesting that Iran is struggling to determine who is really in charge.
In response, Pezeshkian and Ghalibaf, in posts on the X platform, stated that the terms "moderate" and "hardline" do not exist in Iran.
“We are all ‘Iranians’ and ‘revolutionaries.’ With the iron unity of the nation and government, and with complete obedience to the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, we will make the offending aggressor repent for his actions. One God, one leader, one nation, one path ,” they stressed.
The head of the judiciary, Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, echoed the same remarks, saying that the US president should know that the terms "hardline" and "moderate" are meaningless and baseless concepts, imported from Western political discourse.
"In the Islamic Republic of Iran, all groups and factions ultimately stand united under the orders of the Supreme Leader ," Ejei added.
Other Iranian officials, such as Pezeshkian's deputy for communications, have called Trump's claims "a political game and enemy propaganda."
