New details are emerging in the case of the murder of American conservative activist Charlie Kirk, for which 22-year-old Tyler Robinson is accused. According to American media reports, Robinson lived in an apartment with a transgender person who was in the process of gender transitioning from male to female.
Sources close to the investigation have announced that this person is fully cooperating with authorities, even handing over messages sent via the Discord platform, where Robinson told them the location of the weapon used in the crime, a nearby forest area.
FBI: "They may have had a romantic relationship"
According to FBI sources cited by Fox News Digital, Robinson and his roommate, Lance Twiggs, were not just roommates, but had a romantic relationship. Twiggs is not considered involved in the murder and is not under criminal investigation, and he continues to cooperate with authorities.
However, Twiggs' exact identity remains unclear, as his name has not been mentioned in official testimony so far. His family has not confirmed whether he is the transgender person in question, but one relative has described him as "the problem son of the family."
Political or gender motives are not excluded.
While speculation about a possible political or gender-based motive for the murder has circulated in the media, the victim's grandfather has said he does not want to comment on the nature of the relationship between the perpetrator and his cohabitant, adding: "I'm not sure what's going on with him at this point."
According to reports from the Daily Mail, Robinson and Twiggs were part of a large group of friends who communicated regularly on Discord, most of whom were graduates of Pine View High School.
