A shocking incident has occurred in the city of Trikala in Greece, where an 18-year-old called authorities about the murder of his mother.
According to initial information, the young man, around 18 years old, who lived with his father after his parents were divorced, allegedly strangled his mother with a towel and then notified the authorities.
The 54-year-old woman was found dead inside the house, while forensics will determine the exact cause of death.
Greek authorities are continuing their investigations and have arrested the 18-year-old.
