Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that more than half of the objectives set within the framework of joint operations with the United States against Iran have been met, without however giving a concrete deadline for ending the conflict.
In an interview with the American television network Newsmax, Netanyahu said that military action is now at an advanced stage. He also hinted that the internal situation in Iran could evolve to the point of a weakening or collapse of the regime.
However, he stressed that regime change in Iran is not an official objective of the ongoing operations, although domestic developments could lead to such an outcome.
"It's clear that we're more than halfway there, but I don't want to set a timeline," Netanyahu said in the interview broadcast on the 31st day of the conflict against Iran.
