French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu said that by the beginning of 2025, his country will send used armored vehicles to Ukraine as part of the "new military aid package".
Among other things, he emphasized the importance of vehicles in order for Ukraine to have a wide front line and in terms of the mobility of military units.
"The French army has replaced its VAB armored vehicles that have been in use for more than 40 years with new generation vehicles," said Lecornu, who added that the old armored vehicles that are still operational and the missiles of the type ' Aster' will be delivered to Ukraine by early 2025.
French Minister Lecornu announced in a statement yesterday that from 6 to 12 the number of the Caesar artillery system produced every month, that in the near term they will provide Ukraine with 78 Caesars and that they will increase the supply with ammunition.
