The tensions of the Democratic Party protest have shifted from the Prime Minister's Office to the Parliament area, where clashes have been recorded between protesters and police forces near the Namazgja Mosque.
A group of opposition supporters, along with several Democratic MPs, attempted to advance towards the Parliament building, but were stopped by the police cordon set up on the ground.
Among the protesters on the front lines were MPs Flamur Noka, Klevis Balliu and Bledjon Nallbati, who clashed with officers during their attempts to break the security cordon.
The police responded by using water cannons to disperse the crowd and prevent protesters from approaching the Parliament. Despite this, groups of protesters continued their efforts to advance, pushing and attempting to break the police cordon.
The situation in the area remains tense, while law enforcement has strengthened its presence and continues to block access to the Parliament, preventing protesters from approaching the security perimeter.
