The list also includes important actors in American politics such as Marco Rubio, Gavin Newsom, Mark Kelly, Susie Wiles and Steve Witkoff, who have a role in institutional leadership and political debates in the US.
In the technology and business sector, TIME lists executives and entrepreneurs such as Sundar Pichai, Dario and Daniela Amodei, Michael Dell, Neal Mohan, Sarah Friar and Jeremy Allaire. This group also includes content creator MrBeast as an influential figure in the digital economy.
The field of science and health is represented by names like Reid Wiseman, Tony Tyson, and Kiran Musunuru, while activism and civil rights include Shirin Ebadi, Dolores Huerta, and Shannon Minter.
In arts and entertainment, the list includes actors and artists such as Zoe Saldaña, Dakota Johnson, Benicio Del Toro, Ben Stiller, Kate Hudson, Claire Danes and Ethan Hawke. In music, Luke Combs, Coco Jones, Jennie, Hilary Duff and Noah Kahan are listed.
In sports, TIME selects Lando Norris, Noah Lyles, Chloe Kim and Scottie Scheffler as influential figures in their respective disciplines.
According to this year's data, Xi Jinping leads the list for the highest number of appearances in history with 14 inclusions, while Donald Trump ranks behind him with eight.
TIME's editorial team emphasizes that the selection is based on the concrete impact of individuals and not on their level of fame or popularity.
