Italian authorities are trying to solve the theft of three paintings worth millions of euros, which took place at a museum near the city of Parma.
The incident was recorded on March 22, when four masked robbers entered the villa of the Magnani Rocca Foundation and left after taking three important works of art.
According to authorities, the stolen paintings are Pierre-Auguste Renoir's "Fish", Paul Cézanne's "Still Life with Cherries" and Henri Matisse's "Odalisque on the Veranda".
According to Italian media, the robbers managed to enter and exit the building within three minutes. Their action was only interrupted by the activation of the alarm system, which prevented them from taking more property.
The gang forced their way through the main entrance of the Villa dei Capolavori, located in the rural area near Parma, and took the paintings from the "French Room" on the first floor of the building.
The foundation stated that the group appeared "structured and organized," adding that if the alarm had not been activated and the police had not been notified immediately, the robbers could have stolen other objects.
After the robbery, the perpetrators fled by climbing over a fence and losing track.
The total value of the stolen paintings is estimated at 9 million euros, with the work "Les Poissons" worth 6 million euros - making it one of the most significant art thefts in Italy in recent years.
