Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has issued threats against Greece over Athens' decision to cooperate with Ukraine in the construction and use of unmanned naval vessels.
"Greece is pursuing a provocative and confrontational policy towards Russia and is taking frankly hostile actions. Athens was one of the first countries to send weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, which the Ukrainian armed forces use every day against civilians in the Donbas, in the Zaporizhia, Kherson, Crimea and other southern regions of our country. And all this despite the fact that Greeks have lived in these areas since ancient times," Zakharova said at a press conference.
She further added that Russia will give an appropriate response to Greece regarding this hostile decision.
“ Another confirmation was the so-called agreements with the Nazi regime in Kiev on November 17, including the development and use of unmanned naval vessels. This step, like many other anti-Russian actions of the Western world collectively, aimed at defeating Russia on the battlefield, received the necessary assessment from our side and the appropriate reaction will follow ,” Zakharova concluded.
