Orban's defeat, Soros reacts: Russians go home, rejection of corruption

Alex Soros has reacted through social media posts regarding the election results in Hungary, where Viktor Orban, after 16 years in power, suffered a shocking defeat.

Orban had positioned himself as one of George Soros' strongest opponents, even expelling any foundation or project funded by the Foundation funded by the multibillionaire from Hungary.

“The people of Hungary have reclaimed their country! A powerful rejection of entrenched corruption and foreign interference. Russians go home! Hungarians come home! ” Alex Soros wrote in two posts on “X” after the election results were announced and Orban conceded defeat.

The latter lost the election to rival Peter Magyar, once one of Orban's government officials, but who 4 years ago split from FIDESZ to create his own party, TISZA, which within 4 years achieved a historic victory in Hungary.
