Horse enthusiast Tatyana Remley has hired a hitman to eliminate her millionaire husband when her monthly income after splitting from him was reduced from $50,000 to just $12,000, it was recently reported.
The woman agreed with the hitman because she apparently believed that $12,000 a month was too little to live on.
The 42-year-old, known for her lavish lifestyle and equestrian sports, was enraged by the court's decision to reduce her income, so she offered a mutual friend the staggering sum of nearly $2 million to get rid of her.
But instead of taking the money, the unnamed mutual friend alerted her husband Mark to the threat, leading to trouble for his former "acrobatic rider" ex-wife.
The Florida couple were known for a series of divorce attempts after their horse acrobatic shows failed, and there were subsequent allegations of abuse by the parties.
Mark claims that Tatyana set their Rancho Reposo on fire days after the elimination bid.
Firefighters said that the premises of the farm were destroyed by the fire, the causes of which are still under investigation.
The development comes after reports of a series of financial problems for Tatyana as her lawyer Tiffany Brown said the reduced income had left her unable to make ends meet.
Her representative wrote: "The woman is facing numerous financial difficulties. She can't afford her monthly expenses on just $12,000, which is far less than what she was used to, $50,000.”
Mark, after being informed of the plan, alerted the police, who organized an infiltration operation to arrest Tatyana.
The police have not yet published details of the murder plan, but Tatyana is already facing charges of incitement to murder, hiding a weapon and carrying a weapon in a car.
