US President Donald Trump has reacted again to the war in Ukraine, directly criticizing Vladimir Putin and Russian attacks on Kiev.
"I am not happy with the Russian attacks on Kiev. They are unnecessary and the timing is very bad. Vladimir, stop! Five thousand soldiers are dying every week. Let's close the peace agreement!" he wrote on Truth Social.
This post comes at a time of tension on the Ukrainian front, with Russian attacks increasing and the loss of human life rising dramatically.
Earlier, Russia said it had successfully completed a series of overnight strikes in several areas of Ukraine, stressing that the aim of the strikes was to destroy key military infrastructure. The Russian Defense Ministry spoke of a “massive attack” from land, air and sea, which targeted the aviation, missile and space industries, as well as units producing mechanical and armor systems. Also, according to the statement, installations producing propellant fuels and gunpowder were hit.
"The objectives of the operation were achieved. All anticipated targets were destroyed," Moscow's message read.
