President Masoud Pezeshkian has declared that Iran is at war against the United States, Israel and Europe.
A powerful statement has been made by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, who has said that he is in the midst of an "all-out war" against the United States, Israel and Europe.
"In my opinion, we are at total war with the United States, Israel and Europe. They want to bring our country to its knees," he said during an interview with an Iranian media outlet, The Times of Israel reports.
He said the current war is worse than the war in Iraq in the 1980s.
"If one understands it properly, this war is much more complex and difficult than that war."
Pezeshkian made the comments on the eve of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's trip to the United States, where the Iranian said he plans to brief President Donald Trump on options for possible future strikes against Iran, amid concerns that Tehran is rebuilding ballistic missile production facilities and repairing air defenses damaged during the June conflict, according to NBC News.
"In the war with Iraq, the situation was clear; they fired missiles and it was clear where we would counterattack. But here, they are now surrounding us in every aspect, putting us under pressure and in tight corners, creating problems economically, culturally, politically and in terms of security," Masoud Pezeshkian further stated.
