Commander of the Central Command Khatam al-Anbiya announces the transition from defensive to offensive strategy
Iran has announced a change in its military doctrine, moving from a defensive approach to a more offensive orientation. The statement was made by the commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of the Iranian armed forces, Brigadier General Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi.
According to him, this change is part of a broader strategy to strengthen the country's military capabilities and is accompanied by significant adjustments in the tactics used on the battlefield. He emphasized that Iranian forces have developed advanced equipment and weapons systems, also relying on the potential of young specialists.
The general stated that these capabilities are intended to disrupt the plans of the adversaries, while adding that the other side has already begun to perceive elements of this power on the ground. He warned that this trend will continue with "new surprises" in the future.
In his statement, Abdollahi used the term “criminal enemy” to describe the adversary, a formulation that reflects Tehran’s official stance. He also stressed that the armed forces, with the support of a population that he described as stable and informed, have managed to maintain control in the field of operations.
The Iranian official also pointed to what he called the historic unity between the people and the armed forces, under the leadership of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution. According to him, this constitutes a basis for future successes.
