
Bad weather has once again invaded northwestern Italy. Heavy rains caused rivers to burst their banks in some areas and overturn roads.
Civil defense crews cleared mud-covered streets in a town near Turin, Italy, after flooding brought soil and debris with it.
The flash flood washed away cars in Bardonecchia in the Val di Susa mountain valley, while all roads were under the power of mud. The authorities have announced that the five missing persons have been found and no casualties have been reported.
Damage is extensive, including destroyed roads and bridges already destroyed by the force of the flood.
Firefighters said crews had rescued six people overnight from an overturned camper. As a result of the chaotic situation, 120 people were summoned, while one minor was injured.
The city center is under water and soil power, and in addition to fire engines, bulldozers have also been sent to the area to help cleanup efforts.
This event scared residents and tourists who frequent this area. Even many people were there because of the feast of St. Hippolytus.
