"Qatar had not received any prior notice from the US about the Israeli attack that took place in Doha."
Qatar's Foreign Ministry has rejected the White House's claim, stating that Qatar had received no prior notice of the Israeli attack that took place in Doha.
Caroline Leavitt said that US special envoy Steve Witkoff warned Qatar about the impending attack.
But Qatar's spokesman, Majed Al-Ansari, said reports that Qatar had been informed in advance of the attack were false.
He said that information from an American official only arrived at the time of the explosions, making communication very difficult.
"The communication received by one of the American officials came during the sound of the explosions," he said.
The situation remains tense between the parties, while disagreements over the transparency of this military operation highlight tensions in the region.
