Israel's Channel 13 cites "initial reports" that Iranian missiles have hit the northern coastal city of Haifa and the neighboring town of Tamra.
According to Al Jazeera, the attack on Haifa was expected – because the gas fields are located there.
It appears that this is a first retaliation for the Israeli attack on the gas field near Bushehr and the oil refinery in Abadan.
But this is just the beginning for today, as the Iranians are promising broader retaliation. We will likely see more waves of attacks towards Haifa, Tel Aviv, and Jerusalem.
Iranian television Press TV claims that Iranian missiles and drones have hit military targets in Israel.
