The Israeli military said it destroyed the "command centers" of Hezbollah's elite Radwan forces in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, on Saturday.

In its statement, Israel added that it also attacked several Hezbollah launch sites in the Al-Qatrani area in southern Lebanon.

Since the start of US-Israeli attacks on Iran on February 28, Israeli attacks have caused at least 826 deaths in Lebanon, with the conflict now spreading to much of the region.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reiterated today that Iran has not targeted residential or political areas in the Middle East. He also said Tehran is ready to form a committee with neighboring countries to investigate who is responsible for these attacks.

Araghchi, through his Telegram channel, said that Tehran is in contact with various Gulf capitals and would welcome any initiative that could guarantee a complete end to the US-Israeli war against Iran.

Gulf countries have called on Iran to cease attacks on their territories, emphasizing that these have not only hit American military bases, but also energy facilities and civilian homes.

On the other hand, US President Donald Trump has asked China, France, Japan, South Korea and the United Kingdom to send warships to escort oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, after Iran effectively blocked this critical waterway.

So far, no country has publicly accepted Trump's call. A British Ministry of Defense spokesman told US media that the UK is "currently discussing with our allies and partners a range of options to ensure the security of maritime transport in the region."
