Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that any attempted NATO aggression against Russia will have an adequate response.
This statement came during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly. Lavrov added that the European Union is raising a false alarm, as it is pushing their residents to prepare for war with Russia.
"Threats of force against Russia, accused of practically planning an attack on the North Atlantic Alliance and the European Union, are becoming more and more common. President Putin has repeatedly rejected such provocations. Russia has never had and does not have such intentions, but any aggression against my country will be met with a decisive response. There should be no doubt about this among those in NATO and the European Union who not only convince their voters of the inevitability of war with Russia and urge them to tighten their belts, but also openly declare preparations for an attack on our Kaliningrad region and other Russian territories ," Lavrov said.
