The skies over the Gulf have been closed for 48 hours, leaving hundreds of thousands of passengers stranded and waiting to travel.
Qatar, Iran and Iraq have closed their airspace due to the escalating actions, while major airports, including Dubai, the world's largest international hub, have been closed for three days.
Qatar Airways, the region's second-busiest airline after Emirates, said in an update that its operations were suspended this morning, with another update expected at 6am UK time tomorrow.
