The war between the US and Israel with Iran has entered its 38th day, while threats and ultimatums are becoming more frequent.
At least 17 victims in Iran and two in Israel have been reported from the attacks in recent hours.
US President Donald Trump has warned that he is prepared to strike Iranian power plants and bridges, telling Tehran: "Open the Damned Strait, you crazy bastard, or you will live in Hell."
But a defiant Iran has rejected Trump's demands, declaring that "the Strait of Hormuz will never return to its previous state, especially for America and Israel." Analysts say the waterway is the only real leverage Iran has over the US.
Retaliatory strikes on Gulf targets continue. Injuries from falling debris have been reported in the United Arab Emirates, with "significant damage" to power plants in Kuwait. The UK Ministry of Defence says it was involved in shooting down "multiple Iranian drones".

Two dead after Iranian attack in Haifa
The bodies of two people have been found in a residential building in northern Israel, which was hit by an Iranian missile on Sunday.
Images from the scene in Haifa show rescue teams combing through the rubble at night, searching for survivors.
Earlier, local police said four people were missing and believed to be trapped under the rubble.
"Rescue operations and efforts are still ongoing at this time in an attempt to reach two other trapped/missing individuals," the fire and rescue service said in a statement reported by The Times of Israel.

Israel ends 'wave of attacks' on Tehran, 6 children killed
The IDF says its forces have "completed a wave of attacks targeting the Iranian terrorist regime's infrastructure in Tehran." Local reports say at least 17 people have been killed. The Fars news agency said 13 people were killed in a residential area in a southwestern suburb of Tehran, near Eslamshahr.
State media also quoted emergency services as reporting the deaths of six children in the Iranian capital, although it was not clear whether they were among the same 13 people. The Iranian Red Crescent posted footage on Twitter that it said showed emergency teams dealing with the aftermath of an airstrike and digging through rubble.
