The United States has fired more than 850 Tomahawk missiles at Iran since the start of the war a month ago.
The rate at which the military is using the missiles has alarmed some Pentagon officials, leading to internal discussions about how to make more missiles available, according to the report, which cited people familiar with the matter.
White House press secretary Caroline Leavitt told Reuters news agency that the US military had "more than sufficient" weapons stockpiles to achieve its military goals in Iran and beyond.
"President Trump has always been intensely focused on (strengthening) our armed forces, and he will continue to call on defense contractors to more quickly build American-made weapons that are the best in the world ," Leavitt said.
