Fighters with Moscow, submissive to the US, complacent with Israel: Europe as

The hypocrisy of the EU: it behaves differently with Moscow and differently with Israel!

How many readers today associate the name Gleiwitz with the name? Probably not many. But this industrial city in Polish Silesia, with nearly 200,000 inhabitants, was the scene of an event that changed world history. On August 31, 1939, Nazi propaganda announced that a group of Poles had attacked the Gleiwitz radio station. An incident described as a “Polish armed attack,” which, according to Hitler, would justify declaring war on Poland.

The truth was only revealed after the Reich's capitulation: the attack was a German staged attack, organized by the SS and secret police, with officers dressed in Polish uniforms to create the pretext for an aggression. A classic example of a "false flag" - used to manipulate public opinion and ignite a world war.

From Gleiwitz to “Russian drones”: today’s parallels

Today, more than eight decades later, episodes reminiscent of that scenario have been reported in Poland, Estonia and Romania: 19 Russian drones allegedly violating Polish airspace, another that fell on a farm near Lublin, 12-minute violations of Russian aircraft in Estonian skies.

These cases have raised alarm within NATO, with Poland and Estonia seeking to activate Article 4 of the Treaty, which provides for discussions when the territorial integrity or security of a member country is threatened.

But how real are these incidents? Military expert Gianandrea Gaiani mentions three possibilities: a Russian test to measure European defenses; a technical error caused by Ukrainian electronic countermeasures; or a deliberate staging by the Poles and Ukrainians themselves to strengthen the narrative of the Russian threat.

Facts that raise doubts

Many elements cast doubt on the official version:

-The downed drones were unarmed.

-The missile displayed over a barn in Lublin was not Russian, but an American AIM-120 mistakenly launched by a Polish F-16.

-Many of the alarms in Poland and Romania turned out to be false, caused by weather conditions.

-Russia denied air violations in Estonia, but its statements were dismissed by Western media as propaganda, without verification.

A blurry picture, where facts mix with narrative, creating more confusion than clarity.

Building the “Ideal Enemy”

In the background, the goal seems clear: to create a permanent state of anti-Russian alarm, to mobilize European public opinion. The statements of EU leaders are filled with apocalyptic rhetoric:

Macron has called Putin "the monster that will eat Europe."

EC President Von der Leyen has described Russia as a "rogue state".

Leaders from Germany, Britain, Sweden and Norway speak openly about preparing for an "inevitable world war."

In this climate, even the idea of "drone walls" on the EU's eastern border no longer seems like a fantasy, but a concrete plan leading towards an open clash with Moscow.

European frustration and the shadow of Trump

Why this push towards conflict? One explanation is the fear of European elites facing the return of Donald Trump to the White House. A US withdrawal from NATO would leave the EU stripped of American security. For this reason, European leaders are fanning the flames of conflict with Russia, in the hope that a climate of war will force Trump to stay engaged.

But this is a dangerous calculation, which goes against the interests of European citizens, drawing them into a game of blackmail and hysteria.

EU hypocrisy: double standards with Moscow and Gaza

This belligerent rhetoric towards Russia contradicts Europe's stance on the massacre in Gaza. For almost two years, the EU has watched and remained silent: bombings of hospitals, schools and refugee camps, thousands of civilians killed, open ethnic cleansing by Israeli settlers.

The European reaction has been the same: big words like "unacceptable", "intolerable", but without any concrete action. In fact, the continent is paralyzed by fear of accusations of anti-Semitism and by political and economic dependence on the US and Israel.

Europe shouts against Moscow but stutters against Tel Aviv. This moral hypocrisy is the clearest sign of its weakness.

Conclusion: a continent blocked by fear and hypocrisy

From Gleiwitz in 1939 to today's drones over Poland and Estonia, history seems to repeat itself: staging, pretexts and rhetoric fuelling clashes. Today, Europe finds itself caught between two fronts: a potential war with Russia and an ongoing massacre in Gaza, to which it turns a blind eye.

In both cases, it appears incompetent, dependent and stripped of political dignity. What was once the most powerful continent in the world is now guided not by principles but by hypocrisy – the only compass that seems to be left in Brussels. / Adapted from “Pamphlet” by “Inside Over”
