France calls on Hamas: Accept Trump's plan and surrender!

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot says Hamas should accept US proposals and surrender. According to Barrot, the Palestinian group, which is studying Trump's proposal for Gaza, has lost and should surrender.

"Hamas bears a very heavy responsibility for the catastrophe that the Palestinians experienced. It has lost. It must accept its surrender ," Barrot told the AFP news agency.

As we have reported, the US 20-point plan states that Hamas should have no role in the future governance of Gaza, which will undergo a "demilitarization" process.

The plan also states that Hamas members who commit to peaceful coexistence and the dismantling of their weapons will be amnestied, while Hamas members who wish to leave Gaza will be able to safely cross to host countries.
