"Defend yourself or die"/ Starmer reacts harshly to Elon Musk's

The British government has reacted sharply to Elon Musk's statements during a massive right-wing protest in central London against illegal immigration. The weekend demonstration gathered more than 110,000 participants and was accompanied by Musk's speech via video conference.

In his message, the Tesla and SpaceX founder said that public opinion in Britain is "afraid to exercise freedom of thought," while accusing the BBC of being "complicit in the destruction of Britain."

He referred to immigration and Brexit, warning protesters: " Whether you choose violence or not, violence comes to you. Either defend yourself, or you will die."

Musk went even further, calling for the dissolution of Parliament and the replacement of Keir Starmer's Labour government.

The British Prime Minister described this language as dangerous, but refused to impose sanctions on Musk.

"The UK is a nation that prides itself on tolerance, diversity and respect. Peaceful protest is a core value of our country," Starmer wrote on Platform X. Meanwhile, a spokesman for him said that Britons do not want "dangerous and inflammatory language" and that such statements "provoke violence and intimidation on our streets."

Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey accused Musk of interfering in British democracy and inciting violence. He called on the government to stop all government contracts with Tesla. Other politicians also strongly condemned the speech, linking it to Musk's relationship with British far-right extremist Tommy Robinson, who was mentioned again during the video conference.
