Several Arab media outlets report that the son-in-law and daughter-in-law of Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, are suspected of having lost their lives in the attacks carried out in Tehran today by Israel and the United States.
According to these media outlets, the information comes from a statement by Mitham Mazfar, a member of the Tehran City Council. He referred to Khamenei's relatives as "martyrs," implying that they died as a result of the attacks.
However, the news remains unverified. So far, Iranian authorities have not provided any official confirmation or denial regarding the reports.
Meanwhile, Israeli broadcaster Channel 12 reported that Israel considers the death of Ali Khamenei in today's attack to be a possibility, citing unidentified Israeli sources. According to the broadcaster, there are "increasing indicators" supporting this assessment, but there is no official confirmation of such a development.
A few minutes earlier, Channel 12 had reported that Khamenei may be “at least wounded.” The same source added that today’s attacks have caused “very significant damage” to the Islamic Republic’s leadership and its military structures.
Until now, the information remains based on media reports and unofficial statements, while a public stance from the Iranian government is lacking.
