Israel has ordered Palestinian civilians to leave their homes.

The army announced that it will launch major operations in Gaza City targeting Hamas militants.

As a result, more than a million Palestinians are faced with the choice of whether or not to leave their homes.

Some were seen leaving Gaza City with suitcases strapped to their cars, or in the back of trucks.
