Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has expressed doubts about the seriousness of the United States' diplomatic engagement, while stressing that his visit to Pakistan has been "very fruitful."
In a post on the X platform, Araghchi praised Islamabad's "commitment and brotherly efforts" to help restore peace to the region, underlining Pakistan's mediating role in the process.
He announced that during the visit he presented Iran's position on a "workable framework to permanently end the war against Iran."
However, Araghchi raised questions about the American stance, stating: “It remains to be seen whether the United States really takes diplomacy seriously.”
His statement comes at a time when international mediation efforts remain fragile and without clear signals of progress in the dialogue between Washington and Tehran.
