The NATO military alliance has reacted after the statement of Stian Jenssen, the chief of staff of Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, that Ukraine may have to sacrifice territory in exchange for membership in the alliance.
A NATO spokesman said that the alliance's position on the territorial integrity of Ukraine has not changed, writes Sky News.
" We will continue to support Ukraine as long as necessary, and we are committed to achieving a just and lasting peace. The Alliance's position is clear and has not changed," he said .
