All 27 European leaders have agreed on a 50 billion euro aid package for Ukraine, European Council President Charles Michel said.
"We have a deal," Michel wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
He said the agreement "seals a stable, long-term and predictable financing for Ukraine".
There were fears that Hungarian President Viktor Orban would block the aid package as he had already done at a European summit last December.
Orban had said he wanted to force a review of EU policy towards Ukraine and questioned the idea of committing to funding Ukraine for the next four years.
Ursula von der Leyen, the president of the European Commission, said that today was "a good day for Europe".
