Israeli PM claims military has targeted strategic infrastructure and aircraft linked to Iranian forces
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the Israeli military had carried out attacks on infrastructure in Iran, hitting railway lines and bridges that he said were being used by the Revolutionary Guard.
In a televised message, Netanyahu stressed that the targets struck were of strategic importance to the movement and operations of this Iranian military force. He claimed that these structures served as transportation and logistics for the Revolutionary Guard.
According to him, the attacks have not stopped only at ground infrastructure. Netanyahu added that the day before, the Israeli army had "destroyed transport planes and dozens of helicopters," which, according to his claim, were also used by the Revolutionary Guard.
The Israeli prime minister's statements have not been independently confirmed, and there has not yet been an official reaction from Iranian authorities regarding these claims.
