Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to continue attacks on Iran as the conflict approaches its sixth week.
Speaking during a meeting at Israel's military headquarters in Tel Aviv, Netanyahu said cooperation with the United States is crucial in this offensive.
"In full coordination between myself and President Donald Trump, and between the IDF and the US military, we will continue to suppress Iran," he declared.
The Israeli prime minister also stressed that his country's air force has "destroyed 70% of Iran's steel production capacity," depriving the Iranian military of "funding sources and the ability to produce large quantities of weapons."
He announced that the operations are not limited to military infrastructure: "together with our American friends, we are continuing to suppress the terrorist regime in Iran. We are eliminating commanders and bombing bridges and infrastructure."
In addition to operations against Iran, Netanyahu said the Israeli military is continuing to "attack Hezbollah" and is expanding the "security zone" in southern Lebanon, where Israeli forces have launched a ground invasion.
He mentioned that the Iranian regime is weaker than ever, while Israel is stronger than ever: “This regime is weaker than ever – Israel is stronger than ever,” the prime minister added.
