Children's books may not be the first thought that comes to mind when you think of Yevgeny Prigozhin, leader of the infamous Wagner mercenary group.
But Prigozhin, whose troops captured most of Bakhmut in the bloodiest battle of the war, wrote and illustrated a children's story nearly two decades ago.
According to the Moscow Times, the 90-page book, Indraguzik, tells the story of a kingdom of little people, who live among normal people and their King, who accidentally grows too big to rule over his people.
In a poem at the end of the story he describes Indraguzik as "funny and strange", said the Moscow Times.
The news site said the 2,000 copies printed were never put up for sale and instead distributed to friends, family and business associates.
