
Hundreds of protesters have arrived at Skanderbeg Square in Skopje to take part in the protest in defense of the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
The protest called by OVL-UCK has begun, which has been supported by many political figures, starting with the chairman of the Democratic Union for Integration, Ali Ahmeti, who has called for massive participation in today's rally.
The Chairman of the Democratic Union for Integration, Ali Ahmeti, before the start of the protest, emphasized that the main purpose of the rally is to demand justice and refute the fabricated accusations by Serbia and Russia, adding that participation is an act of responsibility to honor the sacrifice and protect historical truth.
The head of the War Veterans Organization, Hysni Gucati, has announced that the protest will be peaceful and that the citizens of Skopje should not be worried, following the statement of the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Hristian Mickoski, who said that he does not support the protest.
According to him, over 10,000 citizens will protest today in Skopje for the release of the leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, who are being held in The Hague.
