US President Donald Trump has not escaped controversy even at Pope Francis' funeral at the Vatican this Saturday.
The US president is accused of breaking the official dress code at the strict ceremony, where he arrived in a blue suit and tie.

Officials attending the event were required to wear a dark suit, with a long black tie and a white shirt. Shoes, socks, coats and hats were also required to be black.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, although he replaced his three-year-old military uniform with a black one, did not wear a tie, and former US President Joe Biden also wore a blue tie.

The three are now accused of showing disrespect at the event where the vast majority of world leaders were in black.
Seated in the front row, among a host of foreign dignitaries and members of royal families, Trump similarly adorned his tie with a pin depicting the American flag, while his blue tie was also shiny.
His wife Melania, on the other hand, who celebrates her 55th birthday today, had respected the code to the fullest, with a black coat, a lace veil, and also black gloves.
The criticism of Trump comes just two months after Zelensky was accused of disrespect by a White House reporter for not wearing a suit during a visit to the Oval Office, and according to some reports, the US president was irritated by his attire.
Prince William was also criticized for his dark blue suit at the funeral, although he had made sure to fulfill at least one other obligation of the occasion, which was black tie.

Even former President Joe Biden did not escape criticism for his attire.
