The Serbian President, Aleksandër Vucic, has announced that the elections in Belgrade will be held on June 2. According to him, it is important to respect the recommendations of ODIHR.
The Serbian president also claimed that there was no pressure from outside to hold repeat elections in Belgrade.
" All elections will be held within the legal and constitutional deadline. It is legally correct, the last date for announcing the elections in Belgrade is April 3 and must be announced by the Speaker of the Assembly. The term of the campaign is from 45 to 60 days, i.e. until June 2. Everyone from SNS is in favor of holding the elections in Belgrade on April 28.
