More than 130 videos of Wagner's march in Moscow have been verified and reviewed by Sky News and the Center for Information Resistance, making Saturday's incident one of the most publicly documented of the conflict in Ukraine.
The most recorded stage of the Wagner Group's march to Moscow was the arrival of troops in the southern city of Rostov-on-Don.
42 of the 133 videos viewed by CIR and Sky News were taken in the city, which is the Russian military's logistics hub for its war in Ukraine.
Because of this, the residents of the region are not unfamiliar with military activity. But when Wagner's armed soldiers, tanks and armored vehicles took up positions in the city center early Saturday morning, onlookers rushed to capture the scene.
