The remains of the tourist submarine "Titan" were brought to the surface 10 days after the catastrophic event, where the vessel exploded in the deep waters of the Atlantic Ocean, leaving all 5 crew members dead.
Today, the ship Horizon Arctic, which had been engaged in the search for the "Titan" at the bottom of the ocean, arrived at the port of St. John, in Canada, together with the recovered parts of the submarine.

Minutes after the ship docked on the south side of the harbor, teams of investigators boarded the Arctic Horizon to begin their work. By mid-day a crane began unloading parts of the submarine at the Canadian Coast Guard terminal.

First a semi-circular piece that appeared to be the submarine's nose was leaked, then a portion of the side panel bearing the OceanGate logo was leaked.

The remains of the diver those carbon fiber parts and will now be handed over to investigators to figure out what went wrong. Transportation safety boards from the United States and Canada, as well as the US Coast Guard and RCMP are now investigating the incident.
They may try to put the ship back together, according to a maritime investigations expert who spoke to CBC News earlier this week, adding that there is no timeline for the investigation.
