The Kremlin announced that "Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to meet with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan tomorrow in Turkmenistan."
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Turkmenistan to attend the International Peace and Security Forum, which is being organized to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality and the declaration of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Security by the UN General Assembly. Erdogan is also expected to hold bilateral meetings during his visit to Turkmenistan.
In addition to Erdogan, Russian President Vladimir Putin will also hold bilateral talks in Turkmenistan. A Kremlin statement said Putin plans to meet with Turkish President Erdogan in Turkmenistan tomorrow.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at a press conference: " Tomorrow, President Putin will be in Ashgabat for talks. The International Forum on Peace and Security will be held in Turkmenistan on the occasion of the International Year of Peace and Security. The President has also planned several bilateral meetings within the framework of this forum ."
When asked if a meeting with Erdogan is planned, Peskov replied: " It is planned ."
