
Nearly 50,000 Russian troops will be committed to take the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv that sumit and the regions around.
According to military experts in Kiev, Moscow's forces are using the window of opportunity until the arrival of Western armaments to open new war fronts on the northern borders.
The head of the National Guard of Ukraine said in a statement to The Guardian, that the Russian forces have penetrated deeply into the Ukrainian defense as a result of the lack of weapons supplies and the inability of Kiev to gather reservists.

Russian forces have made significant progress as they battled street by street in Robotyne, a small town in western Zaporizhia.
In a meeting with the President of the European Parliament, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky repeated the call for more weapons, although he expressed optimism that the aid would not be delayed.

Russia launched a wave of attacks over the past 24 hours, injuring two people and destroying three houses in Kharkiv.
Moscow is reportedly using short-range S-300 missiles targeting homes and schools.
So Ukraine has attacked several oil refineries in Russian regions with drones, but most of them have been rejected by Russia's defense system.
