The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted to the seizure by SPAK of the "Zig Zag" hotel in Vuno, claiming that the land on which the building was built is public land and not private property.
During a press conference, Berisha published a map that, according to him, had been made public earlier by the former head of the Cadastre, Artan Lame. The DP leader said that Lame did not register the land claimed by the Rama family and that after the publication of this map he left office.
"So you see Artan Lame publishes the map, which has the merit of never registering the land claimed by Edi Rama, Olsi Rama, their late mother Aneta Koleka, since their family, proven by documents, was in extreme poverty. So the land is public, according to the map he published, the land of the Zig Zag hotel is public, it is not private. After publishing this map, Edi Rama angrily dismissed it," declared the leader of the DP.
Berisha also raised doubts about the manner in which the land on which the hotel was built was acquired, noting that the property is located next to land that, according to him, is claimed by Edi Rama and his family members. He said that the sellers of the land have not been identified and that its documentation raises questions.
"For three years, Isa Aliu and the notary did not know that for registration in the ASHK, a purchase and sale contract and an evaluation report are required. But the position where the land was purchased leaves much to be doubted. Some things that are certain are the fact that the land is located on the borders with the land claimed by Edi Rama. While the strong suspicion remains that this land is within the borders for which Edi Rama, the late Aneta Rama and Olsi Rama claim. We have not been able to find the sellers, nor how the sellers have benefited from this land. It is the first case in history, where there is a buyer without a seller. In the registration certificate, the cadastral entry is marked as an orchard, in a place that had only bushes. So if it had not been marked as such, any form of benefit, whether with AMTP or inheritance, would be impossible to possess since in Vuno, only olive groves were divided by law 7501", Berisha said.

Nuk ka shtet normal ne bote ku nje kryeminister vendos kujt ti jap dokumenta pronesie e kujt jo. Ne vend qe te respektoje drejtesine e te leje kete kompetence ne zyrat katastrale te vendit, ky qen eshte bere bosi i katastrit, vete pren e vet grine.
