The crisis between the United States and Iran is entering an increasingly delicate phase. In recent hours, Washington has intensified the transfer of military assets to the Middle East and announced new sanctions against officials of the Iranian regime and the Revolutionary Guard.
Tehran responded with direct threats to Europe after the Pasdaran ban, but at the same time declares that it is ready for nuclear negotiations, provided that they are “fair.” In the background, President Donald Trump’s increasingly broad military options are on the table, along with efforts at regional mediation, as fears of a regional armed escalation grow.
New American flights from Europe to the Middle East
Over the past 24 hours, US aircraft flights from Europe to the Middle East have intensified. According to several OSINT analysts, at least 10 USAF Boeing C-17A Globemaster III aircraft and 2 Lockheed C-5M Galaxy aircraft arrived in the region between Thursday and Friday. They are said to have been joined by KC-135 tanker aircraft. A total of 20 C-17A aircraft have been reported by EUCOM and CENTCOM.
US imposes new sanctions on Iran
The United States has imposed new sanctions on Iran. Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni and several Revolutionary Guard commanders have been targeted. Financial services firms Zedcex Exchange and Zedxion Exchange have also been targeted. "We will continue to target Iranian networks and Iran's elite," Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said.
Tehran: EU armies will be considered terrorists

It is assumed that the route from Azerbaijan could be fast and direct, given its proximity to the Iranian border and the Tehran area, where the high-value regime-linked targets that have been much discussed in recent days are undoubtedly located.
