Seven police officers were injured in a clash with suspected Islamic State (ISIS) militants early this morning in Turkey's northwestern province of Yalova, state broadcaster TRT Haber reported.
During a raid, suspects in a residence responded to calls for surrender from security forces with firearms, leading to an exchange of gunfire.
The operation, which is also supported by special operations police from Bursa, continues with security measures being taken in the surrounding area.
Meanwhile, it was reported that the police officers who were taken to the hospital are in good health.
